Finance and Enterprise Officer
This is a one year fixed term contract
We are seeking to appoint an individual to support the Resources team in the area of Finance and Enterprise. You will assist and deputise for the Assistant Faculty Registrar Resources with regard to day-to-day operational finance and project administration. Provide day-to-day support and advice to Faculty staff with regard to the Universities financial regulations and external income generation processes and funder frameworks. They will also be required to support reporting requirements including audit preparation.
You will have demonstrable administration experience and be proficient in use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet with an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy. Knowledge of records management and databases are essential. Good organisational skills are essential for this role. You will need to be able to work to deadlines with a degree of accuracy, be enthusiastic, and have a proactive and professional approach. Experience of bidding preparation and submission, together with understanding UKVI requirements with regard to employment contracts, understanding financial standards and IR035 would be desirable.
