Senior Lecturer in ITE: Secondary School Placement Learning
There is the opportunity to join the Institute of Education as a Senior Lecturer in Secondary School Placement Learning. You will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate initial teacher education courses and lead school placement learning within secondary education.
You will possess a good Honours Degree (UK, or IK equivalence) or equivalent experience, a master’s qualification or equivalent experience or be keen to work towards a postgraduate qualification. You should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS UK) and will have had successful secondary school teaching experience and experience of leadership within the secondary age phase (11-19). You will also need experience of mentoring in initial teacher education.
You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate that you are an excellent communicator and have an exemplary track record within teaching.
