We are currently looking to recruit an experienced academic and practitioner to join our Institute of Society and Community.  You will preferably be qualified to doctoral level with a developing research profile. You will preferably have knowledge and expertise in teaching and learning, or research and income generation.  You will be an experienced manager of people.

 

You will be a significant member of the senior team who will be responsible for driving a quality, student engagement and inclusive practice with students and staff. We anticipate you will already contribute to research and enterprise, portfolio development, teaching and scholarly activity, employer engagement and we want you to bring your knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to work with us to drive excellence in this area. We are driving up our student satisfaction, recruitment and outreach work and we anticipate you will be key to furthering this work.

 

We have a growing external reputation and are focussed on working with students, employers and communities to bring opportunities and change to our place; we very much want to appoint someone committed to these endeavours. We have a number of exciting developments and there are many opportunities for growth, we therefore welcome applicants with an innovative approach to growth and development.
