Senior Lecturer in Social Work and Social Care
We are currently looking to recruit two Senior Lecturer posts. These are brand new posts and signify the growth and investment into this area the University of Wolverhampton is making.
You should be a qualified social worker currently registered with Social Work England. You will be a significant member of the team who will contribute to portfolio development, teaching, placement work, employer engagement, degree apprenticeship, West Midlands Teaching Partnership and student satisfaction as well as recruitment and outreach work. You will have a developing academic / research profile and either have completed your PhD, or be near to completion. Your research should be relevant to the field of social work practice, but we do not stipulate which area that should be in. Currently within the Institute of Society and Community research is focussed around violence within family settings, learning disability, practice education, BAME experience of social work and social care, participatory research and young families. We work within our region and communities and have strong international links.
