This is a great opportunity for someone already working in academia who is also experienced in Social Work, Community Development Work and Youth Work (JNC Qualified) and wishing to develop their career, or someone wishing to progress their career into academia.


We are recruiting a Lecturer in Social Work, Community Development and Youth Work (JNC Qualified) as part of our growth, development and enhancement of our courses. A higher degree and research experience are preferred.


You will be experienced, innovative and full of enthusiasm for youth work and keen to impart your knowledge, love of excellence and inclusive practice to students. You will undertake the role of lecturer and work across our range of courses and developing areas in the Institute of Society and Community.  


This is an exciting time to join the Institute of Society and Community at the University of Wolverhampton. You will be part of a diverse, dynamic team working principally across the areas of community work and youth work, but may also contribute to our social work or social care programmes. You will be keen to work closely with our external partner agencies. We are developing our provision and will be growing our work with employers to enhance student’s academic and workbased experiences, ensuring a range of creative and innovative opportunities.
