We are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Lecturer in 3D design with a subject specialism in either Interior Design, with knowledge of Furniture Design or Product Design with knowledge of Furniture Design. You will be the subject lead for this area and take responsibility for co-ordinating all the 3D design areas. 


Wolverhampton School of Art has a long tradition of practice led teaching and research. The 3D design area boasts excellent facilities supporting UG degrees in Product design, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Glass and Ceramics, Fashion Design & Textiles and Surface Pattern. Our Masters course in Design and Applied Arts allows students to work across these areas or focus on a specialist route. The 3D Design subjects have a strong background in developing industry led and live projects, sustainability, innovative technology. The area also supports advanced studio practitioners and design history. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer excited by the potential of this area and with the knowledge and skills to help us develop a more integrated curriculum and student experience.


You will have a teaching and research or teaching and scholarship/enterprise background in either Interior Design or Product Design.


You will be able to demonstrate digital expertise and have a track record of industry practice/engagement through your work.
