The University of Wolverhampton has been part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to establish a ‘Science in Industry Research Centre’ (SIRC), at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park. The SIRC project supports small companies (SMEs) based in specific areas of the West Midlands to carry out research and innovation projects in the fields of Biotechnology, Polymers and Life Sciences, in collaboration with specialist staff and resources in the Centre.


The Funded Projects Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the SIRC Project, under the direction of the Project Manager and in compliance with Funder requirements, in particular ensuring that the SME beneficiaries follow the rules of the scheme. You may also be required to contribute administration support to other commercial projects being delivered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and must be prepared to work from either the University of Wolverhampton Science Park or Telford Innovation Campus as required.


We are looking for a highly capable project administrator with experience of ERDF funded projects. You will be highly organized and a capable user of office systems in the University environment (eg databases and Agresso) and will show great accuracy and attention to detail. 


You will be enthusiastic and be confident of your ability to work under pressure and complete work to deadlines.
