Environmental Technologies and Resource Efficiency Support Service (EnTRESS)

An exciting developmental opportunity has arisen to join the award winning built environment team within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton. Acknowledged as one of the largest universities in the UK, with 23,000 students, the University holds an excellent quality teaching profile, with a strong performance in third stream income generation and a world class research excellence profile. The university holds a strong track record of working with regional, national and international businesses, and this project is part of a collective group of ERDF projects that supports business growth across the Black Country and beyond.

EnTRESS is a £1.8 million ERDF contract which will be managed within the School of Architecture and the Built Environment.  This second phase of the project aims to support the development of 120 SMEs in the Black Country and Stoke and Staffordshire LEP areas by offering expert advice to grow their businesses through specialist workshops, individual support, product assessment, technology showcases and industrial challenges – all linked to environmental technologies.

The Events Coordinator will support the Project Director, Project Manager and the wider EnTRESS team with the delivery of the relevant marketing plan and activities, in order to promote the EnTRESS project and its services available to businesses.  The role will assist in the production of marketing literature and materials and the delivery of business facing events.  You will also be expected to maintain the EnTRESS webpages and assist in the creation of content and the production of reports on business engagement by the project.
