The Wolverhampton School of Art is seeking to appoint a full time temporary Lecturer in Multimedia Journalism.


We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and creative candidate to complement our teaching strengths in Multimedia Journalism. You will be a practitioner with extensive experience in video/television journalism (with a focus on news production) and other emerging and new storytelling platforms and formats (e.g. social media/ mobile and/or data journalism). You will have a balance of professional/industry and higher education experience. Having either left the industry within the last 3 years, or with continuing industry engagement, you will possess an enthusiasm that inspires confidence and builds rapport with students and University colleagues and external partners.


We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and will consider a fractional post if you have current industry commitments. The post is a temporary role starting in September 2020 and finishing 31st May 2021.
