As a University of and for the region, our ambition is to be a progressive and influential sector leader, championing diversity, growth, and creating life chances for all while enhancing economic impact and accelerating ambition across the entire University community.
As part of the Offices of the Vice-Chancellor, the Strategic Planning Office provides a range of professional services to support to the University. The Office is responsible for providing analytical and practical support underpinned by data analysis to OVC and across the University to ensure the implementation and delivery of the new Strategic Plan (Vision 2030). We are responsible for monitoring the University’s performance, ensuring delivery of University priorities and goals, and assessing risk and providing support to help areas with effective mitigation.
The Evaluation Manager role has been created to lead the development and implementation of our approach to evaluation activity in response to the enhanced requirements of the Office for Students (OfS) and our Access and Participation Plan (APP).
Working with other colleagues in SPO and the Deputy VC (Student Success) you will lead the provision of the University’s analytical and evaluation capability to deliver the requirements to meet OfS conditions for registration linked to the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF) and our APP.
With experience of analysing the impact of activities and complex datasets you will be expected to work independently and at pace, making recommendations to senior staff throughout the University. This is a new role and offers the opportunity to help shape our approach in an area of key focus for the university over the coming decade.
The Strategic Planning Office is based at the Wolverhampton City Campus although due to the current situation the role will initially be home-based. Thereafter agile working can be considered on an ongoing basis.
Interviews will take place on 28th August 2020.
