The University is looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic individual to provide strategic leadership to its Admissions function, within the Academic Registry. You will report to the Academic Registrar and will be expected to build and maintain a truly excellent service for all applicants and, in doing so, to make a substantial contribution to the University’s achievement of its ambitious recruitment goals.

We recently commissioned an independent external review of our admissions function and the new Head of UK and International Admissions Services will take the lead in implementing the improvement plan arising from this review. You must have the skills and expertise to provide expert advice and guidance on admissions policy and practice, effective and proactive leadership of the admissions team, and liaise at a strategic level with senior managers across the University. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in admissions leadership and effective change management.

Are you an inspirational leader who can develop, manage and motivate staff, with the ability to think and operate strategically and autonomously? Do you have detailed knowledge and understanding of the complex external regulatory and legislative frameworks around higher education admissions, as well as experience of analysing and utilising complex data? Can you demonstrate strong relationship, networking, communication, presentation and training skills, and the ability to act as a ‘champion’ for admissions at senior management level? If so, please see full details of this fantastic opportunity on our website.

Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 22nd June 2020.

The University of Wolverhampton values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
