Senior Lecturer -Pre-Sessional and Testing

The International Academy, based in Priorslee, Telford is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to contribute to the achievement of the University and International Academy Strategic objectives by supporting the continuing growth of international recruitment.
You should have excellent English language teaching and communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. It is essential that the successful candidate is TEFLQ qualified or equivalent, has experience of course and materials creation and working in a HE environment. Creation of online provision, assessment creation and assessment writing are also essential for this role with the opportunity to develop this work in the UK and with overseas partners, ensuring continuous development of software and programming relevant to language learning and testing.
You should have experience of dealing with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, with an understanding and respect for cultural diversity. Applicants should also have a good first degree and MA/higher (or equivalent) is desirable.
