Learning and Skills Development Librarian
The Directorate of Student and Academic Services’ aim is to deliver excellent academic support in collaboration with the University’s community and partners. It has over 200 staff covering a variety of customer facing, professional, technical and academic roles.
We are offering a great opportunity to join a highly regarded, user-focussed academic skills team. You will provide a range of skills development opportunities for students and staff - and in particular academic researchers - through tailored, embedded in-curriculum teaching and online learning, together with a programme of workshops and a wide range of online resources. You will bring a highly proactive approach to forming excellent working relationships with our stakeholders and be able to evidence strong skills in reflecting and improving your practice.
As noted above, the focus of this role is to develop skills support for postgraduate researchers and academics.
In an effort to address under-representation within the library sector, we are particularly keen to hear from BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic) applicants. If you share our beliefs and are passionate about inspiring and motivating students in higher education, then we want to hear from you.
If successful, you will be based in Wolverhampton, work a 37 hour week with regular travel to our other campuses.
