Digital Projects Administrator
This post is temporary until 30th June 2021
The School of Mathematics and Computing at the University of Wolverhampton is developing two substantial digital projects across The Marches LEP area. The Cyber Security Centre in development in Hereford, and the Digital Enterprise project in Telford. They will offer enterprise support, business accommodation, digital challenges, workshops and general business support to digital companies across The Marches areas of Shropshire and Herefordshire.
We require an efficient and experienced Administrator to support the Project Manager of these two project areas while they are in the early stages of development. The Hereford Centre is due to open late in 2020, and Digital Enterprise is due to start in July 2019 to run through to the end of 2021. These projects will both need extensive administrative support in developing systems to track companies through from general enquires, through the support service(s), to successful outcomes. Both projects are partially funded by ESIF funds – so if you have any experience of administration within these funds that would be an advantage.
You will also support a portfolio of professional digital training courses being offered by the University as part of these developments across the region. This could mean for example, arranging venues in which to deliver training, tracking those attending and generally keeping on top of enquires.
The role will be based at Telford with the Project Manager, with occasional travel to both Hereford and Wolverhampton.
