Senior Lecturer in Nursing
We are seeking candidates for the role of senior lecturer to contribute primarily to the provision of our pre-registration Nursing Associate education programme. You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse (RN). Applications from candidates who have a mental health, children or learning disability nursing background would be particularly welcomed.
You will support the provision of the new innovative Foundation Degree Nursing Associate curriculum in line with the new NMC Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates and Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment. This is a generic course and you will be expected to deliver innovative, high quality teaching across a range of modules and provide support to students within clinical placement areas. You will have experience of working within a higher education institution and ideally experience of supporting higher degree apprenticeships.

We are expanding on our newly developed skills centres to offer hands-on teaching of nursing and healthcare professions skills through a comprehensive range of state of the art equipment.
