Lecturer in Physiotherapy
Temporary post until 31st July 2020
The University of Wolverhampton has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified physiotherapist to join our physiotherapy team on a secondment basis. The physiotherapy programme is a recent addition to our suite of health courses and by joining us, you will be able to contribute to research informed learning and teaching at pre and post-registration level, and help to develop the next generation of practitioners.
You will be registered as a Physiotherapist with the HCPC and have significant experience in a physiotherapy role. Experience of teaching in an academic or clinical setting is essential and candidates with a research profile are welcomed. Although not essential, experience as a neurological, cardiovascular or respiratory physiotherapist would be advantageous.
You will have excellent communication skills and will be expected to work with a range of organisations to help further develop physiotherapy placements and will support the development and delivery of our new Physiotherapy curriculum.
Salary is negotiable on qualifications and experience.
An enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB) will be required.
