Learning and Development Specialist
The HR Directorate provides timely and professional HR support to the University, its managers and staff and the OD team sits within this Directorate. Its key purpose is to develop people, offer support with the management of talent within the University and to ensure that development opportunities are aligned to strategic, operational and workforce plans.
This is an exciting time to join an expanding team in a newly created role helping us to move towards a 70:20:10 learning offering. Reporting to the Head of the Organisational Development and in close liaison with colleagues within the wider HR team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, delivering and evaluating innovative and creative learning and development solutions to address strategic and operational business issues along with contributing to both performance development and performance development review initiatives.
A great communicator you will need to work proactively with managers at all levels and with HR Business Partners. The people development solutions you deliver will require the broadest range of appropriate learning options and delivery channels.
Effective customer relationship management and the application of internal consultancy skills will be essential to this role.
You will be based within the Human Resources team at the Wolverhampton Campus.
