Digital and Online Learning Advisor
The HR Directorate provides timely and professional HR support to the University, its managers and staff. The Organisational Development (OD) team sits within this Directorate. Its key purpose is to develop people, offer support with the management of talent within the University and to ensure that development opportunities are aligned to strategic, operational and workforce plans.
This is an exciting time to join an expanding team in a newly created role. Reporting to the Head of the Organisational Development you will support the move towards a fully blended approach to learning and development. This will include not only strengthening and improving our current online / digital offering but also bringing in new ideas which will further enhance what we do.
You will work with the Head of Organisational Development to deliver the strategic approach to technology-enhanced learning and will thereby enhance the learner experience through the facilitation of innovative and creative learning solutions.
You will be educated to degree standard or equivalent or have equivalent experience at that level, being able to demonstrate continuing professional development you will be able to support the OD team in transforming stakeholders’ development needs into learning and development solutions which are online, engaging and interactive. You will also be responsible for building a library of online learning and development resources which is easily accessible by all staff and for evaluating the OD website and making recommendations for improvement to enhance engagement with online and digital learning solutions.
You will have the resilience and determination required to operate in an environment of change and achieve outstanding results. You will have strong IT skills and some exposure to project management techniques.
You will be based within the Human Resources team at the Wolverhampton Campus.
