The HR Directorate provides timely and professional HR support to the University, its managers and staff.  The Organisational Development (OD) team sits within this Directorate.  Its key purpose is to develop people, offer support with the management of talent within the University and to ensure that development opportunities are aligned to strategic, operational and workforce plans.

 

The OD Administrator role is key to ensure that all of the processes within the OD team flow smoothly to enhance the learner and internal customer experience. 

 

The purpose of the role is to provide professional administrative support to the OD team and to be the primary point of contact for all staff.  Responsibilities include administratively supporting all staff development activities; maintaining and having oversight of the accuracy of staff training records and managing the schedule of all courses from start to finish (room booking, trainer availability, delegate invites, course confirmations and such like.)

 

The OD Administrator will be required to process invoices from suppliers in accordance with the University policies and procedures and will also be required to capture data for the production of meaningful reports.

 

You will be educated to A Level standard or have equivalent experience and be an effective self-manager with the ability to manage, with accuracy, a demanding workload and competing deadlines.  You will need to be able to cope effectively with frequent interruptions and you will need good organisational  skills.  You will also require strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

You will have a demonstrable ability to problem solve with the resilience and determination required to achieve outstanding results.  You will have strong IT skills with particular strengths to be shown in Word, Outlook and Excel. 

               

You will be based within the Human Resources team at the Wolverhampton Campus.
