This is an exciting time to join the University of Wolverhampton, Faculty of Social Sciences.  Our new purpose built facilities demonstrate our commitment to providing an excellent student experience and as the University of Opportunity our mission is to support students to fulfil their potential and realise their career ambitions.

The Department of History, Politics and War Studies is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Air Power who can contribute to the teaching on our new on-line MA in Air, Space and Cyber Power which commences in September 2019. The MA is funded by the Ministry of Defence and is the latest addition to our suite of highly successful postgraduate courses in the History of Britain and the First World War and Second World War Studies, as well as to our undergraduate War Studies programmes. We are looking to appoint a highly committed and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching, student support and research. The post is 0.5 fixed term for 3 years and is subject to review thereafter. Knowledge and expertise in space and/or cyber war would be a distinct advantage.  The MA is by distance learning and as such we welcome applications from individuals with experience in the delivery of on-line learning.
