We are seeking to recruit two enthusiastic individuals to full time vacancies at the University of Wolverhampton. The Examinations and Timetabling Unit is based within the Registry department and is responsible for ensuring efficient, responsive and fair exams and timetabling processes for students and staff at the University.

The University began a Timetabling and Room Booking project in 2017 to implement a new way of working and to bring in new systems for both staff and students to improve the learning and teaching experience at the University of Wolverhampton.

The project aims to implement a new system that provides personal timetables for both students and staff and a new online self-service room booking system. In addition, the construction of the timetable will become a central scheduling activity within the Examinations and Timetabling Unit and requires additional Timetabling Officers to support this process.

Educated to a good standard, you will have demonstrable administration experience and be proficient in use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets and email. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy and have experience in using CMIS, SITS and eVision, or similar timetabling and student management systems.

Being able to communicate effectively with staff, students and external customers is essential and you will be expected to display a high level of experience dealing with conflicting requirements with diplomacy and creativity and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

You will need to have the ability to work with a wider team and individually, using initiative together with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure while maintaining the University of Wolverhampton’s commitment to excellent customer service. You will be required to be flexible in your working hours to meet the demands of the business, especially at key times of the admissions cycle.
