Faculty Administration provides an integrated and high-quality professional service to applicants, students and staff across the University. You will be based within the Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton.  The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing brings together four Institutes specialising in education, health, psychology, sport, public health, social care and social work. The University has a long and successful history in these subject areas and you will be supported by academic staff and researchers who are recognised as leaders in their fields. Many courses are accredited by recognised professional bodies.

 

Our outstanding facilities include the multi-million pound Sports Centre and advanced, purpose-built healthcare and teacher training equipment and buildings. Our Faculty's Marketing, Recruitment and Outreach team are fully engaged to provide administration support to maximise applications to our courses, recognise and act upon nurturing opportunities and ultimately increase achieve conversion of applicants to meet the Faculty recruitment targets.  

 

We are seeking to employ an individual who is able to demonstrate a proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills, good organisational capabilities, able to work independently under own initiative as well as a commitment to working collaboratively in a team.

 

You will provide administrative support to enhance the customer service delivery when working with enquirers and applicants, develop excellent working relationships with our academic colleagues and build a suite of nurturing activities to enhance the applicant journey. 

 

You will have demonstrable administration skills and experience, proficiency in the use of office technology including word processing, presentation software, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet, and an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy. You will demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity, a commitment to quality and an understanding of data protection and freedom of information legislation.  You will be required to travel between our University campuses and support events on evenings and weekends.
