We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with a proven track record in analysing and interpreting complex data from a range of sources to join our Strategic Planning Office. The role is pivotal to the development of our service and success in ensuring the University’s strategies and priorities are underpinned by a data-driven and evidence-based approach.


Working within the Offices of the Vice-Chancellor you are expected to provide advice and guidance to staff at all levels, attending meetings and building relationships throughout the University. With responsibility for a particular area of our work and for performing a business partner role for one of our Faculties the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful analysis for a range of audiences is paramount.


The role demands a knowledge of strategic planning and analysis methods and the ability to interpret data and translate it into numerical and written reports.  An understanding of the importance of statutory returns within the HE sector, and an awareness of the data submitted within the returns is also required.


With the ability to work on your own initiative you will be part of a small team who are expected to work flexibly and provide support for each other when required. There are two roles available, one is a permanent contract and the other is fixed-term until July 31st, 2020.
