Senior Lecturer in Quantum Physics
The Faculty of Science and Engineering is one of four faculties within the University of Wolverhampton. The School re-introduced Physics to its undergraduate academic portfolio in September 2017, and has a strong Research in the field of quantum polaritonics. In line with the University of Wolverhampton’s policy of “Students first”, our research involves students at various stages of their teaching, formation and experience. To support its ambitious goal of excellence in this newly introduced field at both the student and academic level, the University of Wolverhampton seeks two ambitious and highly-skilled members of academic staff, with goals to accompany the development and delivery of the Physics course as well as to increase our continued rate of research output. In particular, we seek a Senior Lecturer in Quantum Physics and a Lecturer in condensed Matter Physics. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of courses in the relevant specialism at levels 5 and above and, general contribution to Foundation and Level 4 modules. You will also be expected to contribute to our outreach and recruitment objectives. You will also be expected to be research active in an area which complements existing research within the Faculty.
