You will be based within the Faculty of Arts where creativity and personal discovery go hand in hand with scholarship and academic endeavour. The Faculty of Art has four Schools, Wolverhampton School of Art, Humanities, Media and Performing Arts, with each School having a wide range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level with some inspirational surroundings using state-of-the-art technology.
You will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent you will have good office and administration experience and be proficient in use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy and knowledge of a student records system would be an advantage.
You will have a demonstrable proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with staff, students and external customers and the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy whilst working under pressure. Experience with dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, servicing and organising meetings and events and working within stipulated regulations and procedures is essential.
Experience in working within research in UK Higher Education, knowledge of ethical procedures and policies and working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds would be advantageous.
