A vacancy exists at the University of Wolverhampton for an enthusiastic person to join the Facilities & Support Services Team in the role of Caretaking Supervisor.
You will be responsible for motivating a team of Caretakers to carry out the day to day duties required to promote the professional, customer focussed support service across the University estate.
You must be an experienced and effective team leader, with good communication skills to lead and clearly explain duties to team members. You should also have the ability to motivate, make decisions, manage time and evaluate the performance of others.
You must be capable of using relevant caretaking equipment and be competent in using basic Microsoft programmes. You should be flexible in approach and display good customer skills, have the ability to use your initiative and be able to work positively within a team.
You will hold a current clean UK manual driving licence.
You will work on an A3 Shift Pattern: 3 mornings, 3 afternoons, 3 days off
This role with cover the University Estate but will initially report to Walsall Campus
