Data and Information Administrator
The Data and Information Administrator is the main point of contact in providing the Faculty Management Team with accurate and well-presented management data on which they can make strategic decisions. You will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and be able to select, manipulate, analyse and present complex data reports in a clear and concise manner. You will able to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, being able to identify trends and anomalies, and to offer recommendations for action as appropriate.
You will have a demonstrable proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with academic staff, students and external customers meeting deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, often working to short deadlines. There may be occasions when you will be required to be flexible in your working hours to meet the demands of the business.
You must be able to demonstrate an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy, excellent excel skills with the ability to set up and use spread sheets and databases. Knowledge of SITS or similar student records system would be an advantage.
You will be based at the Faculty of Arts where creativity and personal discovery go hand in hand with scholarship and academic endeavor. The Faculty has four Schools: Wolverhampton School of Art, Humanities, Media and Performing Arts, with each School having a wide range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level with some inspirational surroundings using state-of-the-art technology.
