Faculty PA (0.5 FTE)
We are seeking to appoint an individual to provide proactive administrative support for the Faculty Management Team, service committees, meetings and events and contribute to the day-to-day administration of the Faculty and its constituent departments provide an excellent level of customer service. You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent and have appropriate IT qualifications. You will have demonstrable PA/Secretarial experience including general administration and proficient in office technology such as word processing, presentation software, databases, spreadsheets and have a standard level of literacy and numeracy.
You must have confidence to communicate with and deal with enquiries from a range of internal and external clients and contacts and experience in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Experience of planning, organising and taking minutes of meetings, event organisation and a proven ability to manage senior management diaries is essential.
A proactive and professional approach is required together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in particular with and on behalf of staff at a senior management level. Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and to a high degree of reliability is important. Team working and working individually using initiative, demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure is essential.
