An opportunity has arisen for a full time fixed term appointment in the Office of the Dean of Students working on the new Aspire to HE National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) in the Access and Outreach team.
This is a new and exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the work of the new Aspire to HE consortium that is part of the HEFCE-funded National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP). Through management of key relationships with a portfolio of school and further education colleges, you will co-ordinate and monitor the effective delivery of widening participation activity to targeted groups of young people. This role is essential in supporting their informed and ambitious decision making with regard to higher education. Strong, effective and collaborative working with secondary schools and college partners is essential to both the success of the role holder and Aspire to HE.
Aspire to HE is a fixed term collaborative partnership funded until December 2018 in the first instance with the possibility of continuing to December 2020. It comprises the University of Wolverhampton working collaboratively with Black Country and Telford and Wrekin colleges of further education.
You will be required to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
