The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Social Care to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within the Faculty.  You will be expected to have an excellent track record of either practice or teaching in the sector and a commitment to enhancing the student experience.  You will be expected to contribute to the development of the Faculty’s portfolio of courses and generation of external income.

 

You will join an expanding team delivering social care education across a range of undergraduate social care programmes (integrated and single honours). You may also have the opportunity to contribute to other related programmes at undergraduate and post graduate levels associated with social care. 

 

You will ideally be educated to Master’s level or equivalent and be qualified in Social Care or Social Work and have relevant knowledge and experience of Social Care. You will ideally have knowledge and experience of service delivery with older people and knowledge of gender theories and associated areas.
