The School of Art is seeking to appoint a 0.6 permanent Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Photography.

You will have a Master’s degree or equivalent and preferably a doctorate, in photography and/or related subjects. You will be an excellent teacher with experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Higher Education, preferably with a professional teaching qualification. You must have an excellent practice-based research/professional profile in the field of contemporary photography and be able to contribute to the 2021 REF submission. You must have excellent practical skills in using both analogue and digital technologies and be able to demonstrate knowledge and interest in a breadth of photographic production processes. With a passion for the subject, you will possess an enthusiasm that inspires confidence and builds rapport with University colleagues working in a cross-disciplinary capacity, and with external, partner institutions.
