The University of Wolverhampton is looking for an enthusiastic member to join the International Centre on a fixed term maternity cover contract until the end of May 2018. The main purpose is to support the Head of International Centre and Student Recruitment operationally in taking forward the university’s international agenda and to lead and manage the International Centre (IC) team with specific responsibility for the operational management of the Centre’s activities.

 

You will have excellent leadership, management and interpersonal skills coupled with demonstrable commercial acumen, entrepreneurial drive and creativity.

 

You will have worked for a number of years in the HE environment and have a successful track record in managing in a large and complex organisation, including the ability to prioritise and achieve targets whilst working on simultaneous projects.

 

Core management competencies such as financial, staff and change management are essential to this position. Excellent interpersonal, networking and presentational skills are also a requirement.

 

A degree and a professional qualification in business would be an advantage.

 

The International Centre will be experiencing a period of change over the next 12 months where they will form part of the new Directorate of Recruitment and Partnerships. It is therefore important that you have experience of managing operations over a period of significant change.

 

You will take over a number of high level university wide projects and therefore project management skills are important.
