We’re seeking an ambitious, energetic and determined individual to support in the leadership and strategic development of the Institute of Education.

 

One of Britain's largest and most established providers of teacher education, the Institute of Education offers a comprehensive range of nationally recognized courses in education for future and current education professionals. From cutting-edge teacher training courses and undergraduate courses covering the education sector to research degrees and continuing professional development (CPD) for all education professionals. We work in partnership with the University Multi Academy Trust of 13 schools and we are involved in our University UTCs.

 

The Institute of Education is home to a vibrant  and rapidly developing research culture whose subject areas span the entire spectrum of education, from early years to post-compulsory and adult learning. We have just established our Education Observatory, investing significantly in Education research that shapes our profession.

 

You'll bring significant leadership experience across our portfolio and be capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders including the Department for Education, local authorities and Ofsted. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of outstanding teaching and clear evidence of securing improvement.
