The new Strategic Plan confirms our commitment to be the University of Opportunity and an anchor university for economic and social development.  This includes a major Our Vision: Your Opportunity programme of generating £250m investment over 5 years in the student experience, staff, facilities and creating employment.

All of these strands require investment in change and repositioning as we move into a new era of higher education.  We have made great progress to date, however we know that we need to continue to enhance our offer and this means focusing on further culture change.

In order to achieve this ambitious plan, we will need to revise our systems and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose going forward and foster a Students First culture.  We are therefore seeking to appoint to a new role of Director of Organisational Development to be responsible for the overall systems and process development which is both holistic and customer focused.

A member of the Offices of the Vice-Chancellor, and reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, you will have a successful track record and significant service industry experience as a proven operator at a senior management level, with the ability to demonstrate your experience of the development of strategy and operational delivery.
