The School of Psychology is seeking a full-time Lecturer in Counselling Psychology to join our supportive, collegiate, and ambitious team. As a Lecturer in Counselling Psychology, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training to undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development, engage in scholarly activity and research, and provide mentorship to staff and students pursuing careers in counselling psychology.
You will hold a doctorate and be an HCPC registered practitioner of counselling psychology (or clinical) and psychotherapy or equivalent, or be eligible for registration within an agreed timeframe. We particularly welcome practitioners who wish to pursue a dual career in academia and professional practice.
You will support and empower our students to achieve their goals, fostering a supportive learning environment rooted in values such as empathy, compassion, and collaboration.
