The Technical Lead post has line management responsibilities for a team of technicians who are based within the Engineering and Computing areas. Previous experience of line management would be advantageous.

You will be educated to BSc level or equivalent with significant practical and technical knowledge of the respected area of the role.  An understanding of general safe working practices, and all associated UK health and safety legislation is essential to the role. You will have the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to develop successful partnerships with staff and students. You will need to be competent and flexible, and be willing to work in any laboratory, workshop or classroom relative to their experience and expertise.
