International Recruitment Officer
The Role:
The Directorate of Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions at the University of Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join as an International Recruitment Officer. This role will focus on increasing applications and enrolments from international students and supporting the University’s global recruitment objectives.
As an International Officer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic recruitment plans designed to grow international student numbers. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with international schools and colleges, managing a network of recruitment agents and partners, representing the University at recruitment events, and supporting on-campus recruitment activities and initiatives.
You will play an important role in strengthening the University’s global presence and ensuring a high-quality experience for prospective students throughout the recruitment journey.
About You:
You will have proven experience in international student recruitment. You must have demonstrable experience of managing overseas recruitment activity and a strong understanding of the international higher education recruitment landscape from both commercial and cultural perspectives.
You will be confident in delivering presentations to a variety of audiences, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and organising recruitment events. Strong IT skills and the ability to analyse data to inform recruitment activity are essential.
International travel forms a key part of this role. You must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel overseas for extended periods as required.
