International Conversion Officer
The University of Wolverhampton has recently approved an ambitious new International Strategy, with a strong focus on increasing international student recruitment and developing global education partnerships. We are seeking International Conversion Officer to play a pivotal role in delivering the University’s international growth objectives. This post will significantly strengthen the international team and directly contribute to increased student enrolments in key global markets. As an International Conversion Officer, you will be responsible for delivering daily conversion activity across a range of channels, supporting prospective international students throughout their decision-making journey from application to enrolment. Your work will be central to improving conversion rates and achieving recruitment targets.
Key duties will include:
- Delivering planned and ad-hoc conversion activities to prospective international students
- Engaging with applicants through a variety of channels to influence decision-making and encourage enrolment
- Supporting and contributing to targeted conversion campaigns in priority markets
- Creating and implementing a structured programme of conversion communications to ensure a timely, coordinated applicant journey
- Providing tailored advice and support to applicants as they transition from offer holders to enrolled students
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Global Opportunities Office to achieve conversion targets
You will be an enthusiastic individual with strong communication and influencing skills, capable of building relationships with prospective international students and delivering a positive applicant experience. You will be organised, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Experience in international recruitment, admissions, marketing, or conversion activity within higher education would be advantageous.
