Expression of Interest – Secondment / Interim Opportunity 

An opportunity is available for an internal secondment/interim arrangement to undertake the role of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Advisor within HR until 31 July.

Reporting to the Associate Director for EDI, the role will support delivery of the University’s EDI activity at an operational level, including:

  • Supporting Faculty/Service EDI Committees and Staff Networks
  • Developing EDI communications, campaigns and events
  • Managing EDI webpages
  • Delivering induction and supporting training
  • Producing and analysing diversity metrics (e.g. Athena SWAN, Race Equality Charter)
  • Monitoring the incident reporting tool and escalating areas of potential risk or concern until we move to a new central ‘Report and Support system in May.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for EDI advice and guidance

This is an excellent development opportunity for colleagues with experience in equality, diversity and inclusion, strong analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to driving positive change.
