HR Systems Assistant – Maternity cover until 31st July 2026

We are looking for a HR Systems Assistant to join our HR Information Systems (HRIS) Team. The team are responsible for supporting the University’s HR (Agresso), Service desk (ServiceNow) and e-Recruitment systems. 

HR Systems Assistant Overview

HR Systems Assistant will play a key role in the day to day operations of the HR Systems team supporting the HR Systems Officer and will include the support of end users.  You will also assist in the on-going development and build of HR systems (Unit4 ERP (Agresso), eRecruiter, ServiceNow and ECC Online), becoming a super-user in each.

Systems Assistant will support with system related queries via the HR service desk, specifically relating to staff self-service, annual leave, line management and workflow.

HR Systems Assistant will assist in the ongoing maintenance of static data to ensure that systems are working correctly

HR Systems Assistant will also be responsible for updating and supporting the HR Department web presence.

HR Systems Assistant Requirements – to be successful in the role, you will be:

-          Educated to A Level or equivalent experience

-          Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – especially Excel

-          Have the ability to prioritise own work and work to tight deadlines

-          Have the ability to be self-motivated with acute attention to detail

-          Effective customer service skills

-          Experienced in updating web sites and using web technology
