You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across university buildings, classrooms, offices, and communal areas including a sports centre. This is a manual and physically demanding role that involves a range of cleaning duties requiring attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a facilities team. You will be responsible for completing designated cleaning duties to the required standards set by management within time constraints set by opening hours of the campus. The position supports the university’s commitment to providing a positive and hygienic space for students, staff, and visitors.

The position covers cleaning in our Student Accommodation.  
The cleaner position is for 16.34 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12.46pm.

Cleaning experience is essential and an aptitude for hard work, a willingness to learn how to use different equipment and flexible and adaptable approach. Customer service and a willingness to work with students and academic staff is paramount.
