Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative Senior lecturer to lead on the delivery of Pharmacology within our Nursing curricula. The focus of the post will be supporting the delivery of the Non-Medical Prescribing programme (V300); your pharmacology knowledge and experience will also contribute to the undergraduate nursing programmes.
You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of pharmacology and be able to evidence this with a recognised pharmacology qualification in order to support the learning needs of our post graduate and undergraduate students. Applications would be welcomed from Pharmacists and/or Pharmacologists
You will be educated to a minimum of a Master’s Degree level or equivalent and you will hold a recognised teaching qualification in higher education, or be willing to work towards one. Experience of teaching in an academic setting is essential and candidates with a research profile are welcomed. Dedication to innovative teaching and research activities within healthcare are also a requirement of the post, in order to contribute towards the nursing portfolio and the profile of the faculty
