We are seeking highly motivated and innovative candidate for the roles of Lecturer to contribute to the growing provision of our pre-registration and post registration nursing education programmes at our Wolverhampton City Campus. Candidate should be willing to share the University’s core values of creating a learning environment that is inclusive, challenging and promotes collaboration, professionalism and confidence. The successful post holder will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and should be willing to undertake a Masters qualification and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). The post holder will be expected to have a passion for teaching and would be expected to support and deliver innovative, high quality teaching across a range of modules

The Faculty comprises a wide and diverse range of subject areas, research and knowledge exchange activities, organised through four Institutes; the Institute of Human Science, the Institute of Health, the Institute of Community and Society and the Institute of Education. 

 

The Institute of Health includes a wide range of professionally qualifying health care courses. We are growing to meet the needs of people who wish to work with a host of employers in healthcare and related areas. We include courses in nursing, nursing associates, midwifery, physiotherapy, paramedic science, podiatry, public health and a wide range of continuing professional development opportunities. We are expanding on our newly developed skills centres to offer hands-on teaching of nursing and healthcare professions skills through a comprehensive range of state of the art equipment.
