Student Voice Administrator
The Directorate of Student and Academic Services (DSAS) are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data administrator to work with the data sets used by its Student Insights Unit (SIU). SIU is tasked with analysing student data and collecting the views and opinions of students through their educational journey at the University. The SIU is responsible for supplying professional and academic departments with analytical results in regard of the effectiveness of current practices on student success.
The remit of the Student Voice Administrator is to facilitate the process of analysing the student journey by organising the collection of data and student opinions on particularly important areas/aspects of the student journey concerning the students’ experience. You will also assist the Student Insights Manager in analysing already existing student data, such as data collected and stored on university systems (SITS etc.).
In particular you will be responsible for designing questionnaires for capturing the student voice and opinions and then executing the surveys and ensuring the data captured is stored securely and in the required format for the analysis. You will be responsible for distributing the reports produced by the team to all key stakeholders and maintaining close contact with them to ensure information and analyses are available as needed and any further queries are answered promptly
The role requires graduate-level aptitude for data science or equivalent experience. Previous experience in designing and conducting surveys and analysing data captured that way will be useful.
