Digital Projects Administrator
Fixed Term post until 30th June 2022
The University of Wolverhampton has been part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to deliver a project called Digital Enterprise focussing on bringing digital innovations to companies in the Shropshire area. The Digital Enterprise project supports small and medium sized companies (SMEs) to develop new digital products and processes in any technology area but ideally those relating to Industry 4.0. The project will offer enterprise support, digital challenges, workshops and general business support to digital companies across The Marches areas of Shropshire and Herefordshire.
We require an efficient and experienced Administrator to support the Project Manager. The project will require professional administrative support in developing and maintaining systems to track project beneficiaries through from general enquires, through the support service to successful project outcomes. Tasks will include preparing reports, managing beneficiary files to ensure funder compliancy, provide administrative support for project management and operational group meetings and support project events and promotional activity. As the project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, experience of administration within this fund would be an advantage.
You will also support a portfolio of professional digital training courses being offered by the University as part of developments across the region. This could mean for example, arranging venues in which to deliver training, tracking those attending and generally keeping on top of enquires.
The role will be based predominantly at Telford, yet the successful applicant will be required to travel to Wolverhampton Science Park on a regular basis.
The University of Wolverhampton values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
