The University of Wolverhampton is currently leading the development of a new £9m centre for cyber security in Skylon Park, Hereford Enterprise Zone, Hereford. The centre is a joint venture between the University of Wolverhampton and Herefordshire Council. It is part-funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Local Growth Fund. The new Centre has remit to engage with SMEs and conduct collaborative research and innovation projects in the field of Cyber Security. The Centre will engage in research collaborations to bring the latest cyber security solutions, training and innovations to SME’s and the businesses in the region. The Centre aims to provide a cyber-range simulation platform and an IoT security testing platform for businesses.

We require an efficient and experienced Administrator to support the Project Manager. The project will require professional administrative support in developing and maintaining systems to track project beneficiaries through from general enquires, through the support service to successful project outcomes.  Tasks will include preparing reports, managing beneficiary files to ensure funder compliancy, provide administrative support for project management and operational group meetings and support project events and promotional activity.  As the project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, experience of administration within this fund would be an advantage.

You will also support a portfolio of professional digital training courses being offered by the University as part of developments across the region. This could mean for example, arranging venues in which to deliver training, tracking those attending and generally keeping on top of enquires.

The role will be based predominantly at Hereford with occasional travel to Wolverhampton.

The University of Wolverhampton values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
