We are currently looking to recruit an experienced academic and practitioner to join our Departments of Social Work and Social Care. You will preferably be qualified to doctoral level or registered for a doctorate with a developing research profile. You will also be a qualified social worker currently registered with Social Work England and preferably have knowledge and expertise in training and learning, or research and income generation.  


You will be a significant member of the senior team who will be responsible for driving Practice learning with a focus on partner engagement, quality and student engagement. We anticipate you will already contribute to research and enterprise, portfolio development, teaching and scholarly activity, placement work and employer engagement and we want you to bring your knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to work with us to drive excellence in this area. We also run degree apprenticeships, work with West Midlands Teaching Partnership and are driving up our student satisfaction, recruitment and outreach work and we anticipate you will be key to furthering this work.


You will preferably be a member of the HEA or studying towards Fellowship.
