The aim of the programme is to guide, encourage, motivate and inform about the opportunities that are available to support them on their progressive journey. The University is working alongside the Virtual Schools in four West Midland Local Authorities to enable the programme to be embedded into wider strategies for raising aspiration and progression. A2U is a holistic programme and young people participate in a series of outreach days, mentoring and enrichment activities. Using the Higher Education Access Tracker (HEAT) participants will be tracked throughout their educational journey and into Higher Education.

The Aspire2Uni Participation Officer will be a member of the Aspire2Uni team and will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective systems for collating tracking and monitoring activity on the programme using qualitative and quantitative data to evidence impact.  Furthermore, you will lead on all marketing and communication, as well as, enrichment activities including Children’s University ensuring there is effective participation from all cohorts.
