The Department of Sport, within the Institute of Human Sciences, is seeking to appoint a fulltime 2 year fixed term Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Therapy to complement the current staff team. You will be required to continue the development of our recently validated BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy, with the first course cohort starting in September 2020. You will also be an experienced sport and exercise therapy practitioner. An ability to contribute to other courses in the Department of Sport, such as the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, is essential.

 

The Department of Sport has wide ranging expertise in areas such as sport sociology, sports coaching, sports and exercise psychology, exercise physiology for elite performance and health, physical education, and strength and conditioning. Research within the department is characterised by excellence and breadth, and its quality was recognised by the 2014 Research Excellence Framework audit.
