The University has an exciting vacancy for a Marketing Coordinator, who will thrive within its busy External Engagement department. A positive approach and the ability to think laterally will allow you to achieve goals in a dynamic and varied environment. As part of the Business Engagement team, you will be required to assist the Business Engagement and Marketing Manager in delivery of the relevant marketing plan and activities, in order to promote the services and funded schemes available to businesses.
Working as part of a team and independently, you will be responsible for supporting in the production of marketing literature and materials for services and promotional events, along with initiatives such as KTP and Apprenticeship programmes. Utilising your marketing knowledge you will assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns (on and offline) and liaise with business engagement staff across the university portfolio.
You will be highly organised and able to co-ordinate input from across the University community, have great communication skills and be a team player. With a passion for marketing and events you will be looking to expand your experience within a multi-functional team. As the role requires you to travel, you will need to be flexible and work outside of normal office hours when required.
External Engagement provides the central corporate marketing and communications service for the University of Wolverhampton. This portfolio includes responsibility for all corporate marketing, B2B lead generation, PR, web and digital, alumni relations, events management, enquiry management, and print design services.
